Welsh wunderkinds Those Damn Crows will literally complete their climb to the top of the rock ‘n’f’n’ roll mountain next summer, when they close out the festival that undoubtedly has helped make them one of the most powerful forces on the NWoCR scene – Steelhouse.

Having this past weekend headlined their biggest ever home turf show, the Bridgend ‘bangers will round off the Sunday night of what is officially Europe’s highest festival. They join Friday night bill-toppers The Wildhearts and Saturday headliners W.A.S.P.

Steelhouse organizers Max and Mikey told us:

It gives us a huge amount of pride to have [TDC} make it to the very top of the Steelhouse tree where, in 2025, they truly belong. They’re a new headliner and the time is right. It’s their only ÜK festival appearance next summer.

Lead Crow Shane Greenhall responded:

It’s with an overwhelming sense of pride that us Crows find ourselves back on top of the mountain but this time as your 2025 Sunday Headliners! Seeing our name sitting at the very top of a Steelhouse poster, headlining and closing out this incredibly special festival, is quite simply a ‘dream turned reality’ scenario. Please be there with us as we proudly fly The Crow Flag high at the very top of our favourite Welsh rock festival. What a weekend we shall have Crow/Steelhouse family! Let’s f****ing Crow!

  • Those Damn Crows will release their new album, ‘God Shaped Hole‘, in April.

Two guitar wizards have also been added to Saturday’s bill, in the shape of former Friday night headliners Kris Barras and cybernet sensation Sophie Lloyd.

Kris Barras said:

We are so excited to be heading back up the mountain for a third time. It’s one of our favourite places to play and we are always made to feel so welcome by all of the Steelhouse crowd, it almost feels like a hometown show! It’s a fantastic line up and we are honoured to be part of it.

Sophie Lloyd added:

I’m so excited to be appearing at Steelhouse Festival! With legends like Lita Ford, old friends like Marisa and The Moths and new friends like Those Damn Crows it looks like an  epic weekend and one I’m really looking forward to bringing the Sophie Lloyd live experience to. See you there!

Steelhouse takes place at Hafod-y-Dafal Farm outside Ebbw Vale over the weekend of 25-27 July. Tickets are on sale now.
