My latest choice sees these Swedish alt-rockers continuing to emerge from the #Desolation of a six-year musical silence with the fourth course to be served up from their latest album, which will see them declaring that ‘The World Was Never Enough’ when it is released at the beginning of February.
Telling us a bit more about the latest single, which is a direct lyrical reference to the album’s title and showcases the melancholy driven side of the band in the form of an arousing yet emotive ballad, lyricist Robert Hilli told us:
‘Desolation’ is a naked, raw and honest confession. ‘When is it enough, are we enough?’ It’s all about the struggle when darkness and anxiety challenge us to our utmost limits and about the question how our mind can transport us to another reality where we are forced to face and fight our thoughts and our beliefs about ourselves.
‘The World Was Never Enough‘ will be released on 7 February via Reigning Phoenix Music.
