Geezer Butler – the man who arguably invented the heavy metal bass sound – is to reissue three of his solo albums next month.
‘Plastic Planet’, originally released in 1995 under the name g/z/r and featured Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory on vocals, 1997’s follow-up ‘Black Science’, released under the name Geezer, and the final part of what is regarded as his solo “trilogy”, 2005’s GZR release ‘Ohmwork’, will be re-released via BMG on 30 October. It will be the first time the three albums have been available on vinyl.
