The 2022 Rockin’ The Bowl – Forged In Fire Set In Steel festival, which had been due to take place at the Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield over the weekend of 9 – 11 September, has been cancelled.
In an emotional video statement, the husband and wife team behind the three day event, Steve and Zhany Hughes, attributed the decision to the current financial situation and the hardships being faced by many people. The couple, who spoke frankly about their personal investments in the festival, stressed that, unlike some other festivals, the event was being completely cancelled, and full refunds would be issued to all ticket holders in due course.
