Here at Über Röck we pride ourselves on bringing you the hottest undiscovered bands on the underground scene. The bands who, in six months or so down the line, the rest of the media will be ranting about as the most shit hot “new” act on the circuit, while we sit back, smiling smugly and going “what did we tell you?”
So, in that spirit, we’re proud to present the EXCLUSIVE premiers of the debut video for ‘Who’s Gonna Save My Soul?’ by Nicotine Pretty. For those not in the know, Nicotine hail from South Wales and are fronted by Ginge Knievil (previously of The Sick Livers).
As well as Ginge taking the guitar and vocal reins, he’s joined by Lewis Davies (guitar), Ian Pickens (bass) and Paul Black (drums). Über Röck’s expert on all such things, Dom Daley, describes their sound as “a four-way fistfight between Johnny Thunders, The Dogs D’Amour, The Professionals and early Manic Street Preachers”.
‘Who’s Gonna Save My Soul?’ is released as a free download today in conjunction with Glunk Records, whil physical releases are being planned for later in the year.
