How do you follow a Halloween spooktakular of a show where spirits were summoned up from the depths and moss grew on a south-facing wall? Why, by seeing how many strawberry bon-bons a trio of clueless wireless ne’er-do-wells could stuff into their mouths and still do a live radio show.
Yes, Episode 51 of The Uber Rock Radio Show was as classy as usual.
It didn’t start out that way, though: no, this new episode was looking like another winner with a plethora of hot new tracks from the likes of Rancid, Donnie Vie, Marilyn Manson, The Quireboys, Magic Eight Ball, Dirt Box Disco and Turbowolf amongst others.
AC/DC got covered curiously and more straightforwardly (yes, that is a word!) in the Kick Ass Cover Corner, while the klokk strukk Kokk Rokk O’Klokk with a brand new song from a band that has had Johnny H thinking about growing back his mullet. Well, the back of it at least…
Add all of the above to the usual idiotic conversation – ranging this week from getting off with girls at Warlock concerts to playing a gig in front of a chimney flue – and you’re sure to find plenty to a) laugh at and, b) take your top off and dance to.
