The Uber Rock Radio Show returned to the ghost town formally known as BRfm for its sultry 45th episode.

Johnny H brought with him a thumbfull of tunes and stories related to his experiences at this month’s Rebellion Festival, while Gaz and Rob “The Butcher” Watkins spoke lovingly about their time at Merthyr Rock, even playing a song by an outfit labelled “the worst band ever” by a pair of rapscallions set to appear at Uberpalooza next month.

There was new music from the Dwarves, Last Great Dreamers and KIX, and classics from the likes of The Knack, Hanoi Rocks and the Heartbreakers in tribute to Billy Rath.

Alice Cooper got covered by one of Uber Rock’s favourite bands in the Kickass Cover Corner, as did Thin Lizzy to celebrate Phil Lynott’s birthday. Even HP Lovecraft’s birthday got a song! We’re so kind!
