At 10.30 pm this evening (Sunday 12 February), US metal monsters Trivium hit the stage of Belfast’s historic Limelight on the second, sold out, night of their European tour in support of their ‘Silence In The Snow’ album.

Über Rock was lucky enough to be invited along to watch the band soundcheck, and immediately afterwards we grabbed bassist Paulo Gregoletto to talk about their long overdue return to the island of Ireland, the recruitment of new drummer Alex Bent, comparisons with Spinal Tap and how they’re intending to take a well-deserved break after this particular leg of their seemingly neverending touring cycle is over…
