Artwork for The Cars by The CarsRic Ocasek, best known as lead vocalist of Eighties new wave rockers The Cars, has died, at the age of 75.

The Cars were best known for iconic hits such as ‘Just What I Needed’, ‘My Best Friend’s Girl’, ‘You Might Think’ and, of course the massively successful ‘Drive’.

Ocasek is believed to have died of natural causes, after his body was discovered at his New York home yesterday (Sunday).
